How To Quickly Create SSID ON Cisco WLC

Hello Guys, Today I want to show you, How we can create SSID on Cisco Wireless controller through GUI. This document is covered for all Cisco WLC models. In coming days we have the plan to provide you the complete quick steps for configuration of WLC.

How to create Cisco WLC SSID AQ Learning Center

In Pic-01, Press WLAN tab then Press Go to create new SSID.

In Pic-02, Now write your profile name and SSID to broadcast then press Apply

Type: Select WLAN
Profile Name: Set any name according to your scenario.
SSID: Mention your SSID you want to broadcast.

After apply, you will see the under mentioned details

In Pic-03, Enable Status by check and provide your interface then check the broadcast SSID then Apply.

In Pic-04, Check PSK then provide the required password then Apply

Tip:

Password line only show once you check the PSK
If someone not able to connect with this SSID then please check WPA Policy (Some laptop driver not supported WPS2 in some cases)

In Pic, Now you are done to create a new SSID on WLC.
